Why we build
Small consistent actions, stacked over time, create big results. Like stacking sats. Like stacking blocks. That's BitByBit.
- Action over speculation. We ship.
- Collaboration over competition. With the community, not against it.
- Open over closed. Public code, documented decisions.
- Long-term over short-term. Stack consistently. Compound.
What we're building
Three real apps, shipped at La Crypta hackathons. Try them and let us know what you think.
BitByBit Habits
Family habit tracker with sat rewards over Lightning.
Habits turns 'la mesada' (the kid's allowance) into a tool for financial education. Parents assign habits with sat rewards; kids complete them and receive real Bitcoin instantly via Lightning. Mesada 2.0.
- Lightning Network · Real Bitcoin rewards
- Family-first · Parents assign, kids complete
- Mesada 2.0 · Real financial education
BitByBit Arena
Public challenges on Nostr — identity, proofs and zaps.
Arena started as a New Year's resolution experiment inside La Crypta — a few of us wanted to improve our habits and share progress by tagging each other on Nostr. Today it's that same loop turned into an app: any Nostr identity can create challenges, join, and earn NIP-58 badges that travel across Nostr clients.
- Nostr-native · Identity, proofs, and payouts
- NIP-58 badges · Achievements that travel with you
- Permissionless · Anyone creates, anyone competes
CURSATS
Lightning checkout for teachers — buyers pay in sats, you choose how to get paid.
CURSATS turns any class or course into a Lightning checkout. Buyers always pay in sats; the seller picks how the money arrives — pesos to a CBU via Wapu, or sats to a Lightning Address.
- Two payout rails · Pesos via Wapu or sats to your wallet
- Buyers pay in sats · You choose how to get paid
- Built for educators · Teachers, tutors and academies
Travel companions
Projects and communities we admire, builders of open infrastructure for a freer future.
